The ProKin software is equipped with alot of assessment programs that allow to exactly calculate both balance and proprioceptive conditions of the patient. The sensorimotor evaluation includes incremental difficulties tests as the bipodalic dynamic balance test, the controlled load monopodalic proprioceptive control test and the total load balance monopodalic control test. The trunk module guarantees assessment and dynamic training in sitting position. The trunk module focuses on the motor crossroads between the upper and lower limbs, a body area often affected with poor mobility and by trauma
Prokin can be used in different ways:
Static: stabilometry allows you to evaluate the patient in a static situation with the oscillation of the center of pressure (COP) and the area and perimeter of the Center of Pressure
Single-leg dynamics with controlled load: used for ankle sprains, cruciate knee ligaments, hip prostheses, peripheral proprioceptive control in pathologies affecting the Central Nervous System
Bipedal dynamics: useful for a dynamic two-legged exercise that provides a test on the subject's management of instability
With trunk control: the Trunk module, equipped with 30 levels of instability, allows an exercise and evaluation of the pelvic area in a sitting position.
