Balance trunk

Balance trunk

From the desire to create a functional system to evaluation and dynamic training in a sitting position, TecnoBody has created Balance Trunk. A product that focuses attention on the motor crossroads between the upper and lower limbs and the head, an area of the body often with poor mobility and affected by trauma. The patient sitting on the Balance Trunk system can control the movement of his trunk in real time and interact with the system in order to acheive a constant visual feedback in real time. The applications of this intervention are numerous both in the neuromotor field, for example in cases of hemiplegia, and in the orthopedic field, in the treatment of scoliosis.

  • Assessment and Training: Balance Trunk provides indications on the quality of pelvic movement both during specific proprioceptive tests with incremental difficulty and during functional training modules
  • Focus on the Pelvis: Balance Trunk is an evaluative and simultaneously training system, your ally for working on the development of motor control through lumbar stabilization with your patients or athletes
  • Trunk Control: The combination with the trunk sensor it is possible to include data on trunk control in specific tests and training sessions.
  • Trunk Sensor: With the use of the trunk sensor, while the patient manages the mobile platform in a sitting position, one can easily analyze the movement of the spine divided into two parts: the pelvic one, detected by the movement of the platform and the thoracic one, detected by the trunk sensor
  • Assessment Modules: The two evaluation modules present allow the patient's physical capabilities to be accurately assessed, providing both a quantitative and qualitative result of his pelvic proprioceptive control ability
  • Training Modules: The rehabilitation paths are particularly useful both for carrying out correct proprioceptive training and, together with other external requests, for increasing the subject's ability to stabilize or mobilize the pelvis in dual-tasking mode. The software provides the difference between the ideal kinesthetic line and the tracing performed by the patient in real time
  • Rehabilitation games: Not only evaluation and training, but also many games to train pelvic control and its mobility, capable of attracting the patient's attention during training sessions and keeping his concentration level high, but at the same time helping him escape from the classic motor re-education session
