MAKE YOUR WORK TIME MORE THAN WHAT IT IS !
It is after all the times of ‘Work hard and Play harder’ and ‘YOLO’ as well. Given the fact that you have to sit at a desk and do your work all day long kind of beats the phrases. However, we have a solution for you to make your work time more than what it generally means. Performing a few exercises sitting right there at your desk. You wouldn’t have thought of it, isn’t it? Well, the occasional stretching and lifting, etc. due to the fatigue at work is needed but what if you did all of that before you have to? Yes, all the gym equipment that you have availed through Grand Slam Fitness is well set up for you at home and you must be so eager to get your hands on them but here’s how you can make the best use of your work hours as well.
Exercises come in simplest forms and will come to great effect once you start doing them. Here are a few:
– To play: Stay. Sit right where you are and start tapping those toes on the floor underneath. While you are at it, increase the pace and kick it up a few notches until you feel your glutes asking you to stop. Now that is a cardio session right there.
– Triceps pushdown: This must be one of the easiest and interesting exercises to all you muscle hunks. Get your chair close to the table and keep your elbow at a 90-degree angle and press your open palm against the table and push yourself back. This gets your triceps extended and gives it a good workout. 5 to 6 reps of this should be giving you a good time.
– Water Dumbbells: No, it is not as fun as playing with water balloons. Grab that water bottle of yours and start curling your arms as if you are playing with weights at the gym. You can do around 15 reps with each hand and then change. Mind you, not an empty water bottle. Yes, you can be smart enough. In fact, if you do not have one at disposal, grab anything heavy and do the same.
Seems quite simple, isn’t it? You may not find some significant changes due to them immediately, but do not worry as it all counts. Keep doing them and you will be saving them for a rainy day. If you think these simple and mere exercises will not really make much of a difference to your body, you are absolutely wrong. Think of this as a piggy bank you used to have as a kid and how you would put every single rupee in it and over a period of time it would sum up to a huge amount. Use the same principle here and do it in good faith and if you believe you are getting better at it and are benefiting from it, you actually will. All you need to do is believe.
