FITNESS RESOLUTIONS ARE IN……
You might have heard all about New Year resolutions or even a concept of birthday resolutions for that matter but what you do not know is that they are out and fitness resolutions are in. Fitness resolutions basically refer to the targets you set with regard to your fitness levels and as to where you wish to end up in a given period of time. Resolutions, on one hand, maybe making you get started with fitness activities but the concept of fitness resolutions are making sure that you are already on that page in the book of life. Grand Slam Fitness is here to help you through it but it cannot take you all the way. Some of the aspects that need to come from within are things like concentration, focus, attention, persistence, patience, motivation & imagination. If you are wondering what all that is about, read on.
A few things that are required to get started and maintain your fitness resolutions can all be got through fitness equipment which is easily available to purchase. But, there is more to keeping up fitness resolutions than just getting your hands on the equipment like the above mentioned. Let us have a closer look at them.
Concentration: it is the key to succeeding all the fitness goals you have kept for yourself. If you do not have enough concentration, you may end up injuring yourself or taking double the amount of time in achieving your goals or fulfilling your resolutions.
Focus: When you are working out, your focus needs to be on yourself and nothing else. Getting drifted away in thoughts will only make you prone to injuries which are hard to recover from. Mind you, hard to recover, but not impossible.
Attention: You need to pay attention to what your body needs and desires. If you end up giving your body what it desires, then you will be making it a tedious task for yourself. Give it only what it needs and you will be pushing yourself hard in the right direction. If you aren’t aware as to what your body needs exactly, a trainer or a nutritionist would be of great help.
Persistence: You need to be at it. No quitter has made it far and you need to tell yourself not to quit. You need to be there and just keep doing what needs to be done.
Patience: Results are something delayed when it comes to keeping up fitness resolutions. In fact, they are not all that easy to keep as well. Hence, you need to cultivate that patience to be able to wait it out or start from scratch again.
Motivation: Different things get different people motivated. If you are a person who gets motivated by watching sports and fitness related movies, for example, you need to watch them more.
Imagination: What helps in many cases to make it so far and keep up those fitness resolutions you made is the imagination one has. Imagine yourself in the way you wish to be seen later on and you will do better than yesterday.
Resolutions & promises are meant to be kept. Good luck!
