It’s summertime and this season of the year calls for vacations. Have a beach vacation coming up? You must be craving for that beach fit body so much. All that planning you did to get into shape must have gone haywire because of unforeseen situations. Now you are left with an out of shape body and just two weeks left. Well, do not worry because it is possible if you are up for it. But mind you, it requires loads of hard work and commitment to the goal. So make sure you are going to be there throughout and gear up for the process by getting yourself some of the home gym equipment that you will be needing in the process through Grand Slam Fitness and you will be amazed with the results. Also, before you go ahead and get started with something, let us look at what the basics are and then get diving into it.
The basic science: You need to shed that few kilos and also need to burn that fat and to do that you need to be on a low-calorie diet to get there. Firstly, figure out your maintenance calories (Calorie intake needed to maintain your current weight) and then make sure you stay well within it. For the sake of it, do not fast or skip meals. You can, however, eat more meals in small quantities and make sure your last meal of the day is before 8 p.m. A little bit of strength training or resistance training and a majority of cardio exercise will help you burn that fat accumulated and get you back in shape.
Given the two weeks that you have there are two important things to keep in mind and follow and yes, you guessed it right. Diet & Exercise. If you take up crazy workouts and then end up deviating from your diet, you will end up gaining more shape than you intend to lose. Hence, make sure that you are hard on yourself for that craving is not going to take you to your desired body shape. Beating that craving would help you. There will be no results if these both do not go hand in hand. As far as exercise is concerned, make sure you start early in the day so that your metabolism is up to speed and you start burning your fat right from the start of the day which will go on for the rest of the day slowing down in pace. So go ahead and get your hands on that commercial gym equipment set up and start burning those calories.
While getting in shape is a desire, do not overdo it. Keep in mind that pushing yourself mentally and physically to a certain limit is fine and anything beyond that would damage your body’s form and any injury that occurs will hamper your whole goal and the path towards it as recovering from it takes longer than you think. Which is why you need to take it easy and slow but be consistent and the results will follow. If you think there are any shortcuts to getting there, there aren’t. So get started and get going!
